Our Programs

Six ways we serve the whole person.

Our programs address spiritual, mental, and physical well-being — because real transformation requires caring for every dimension of who we are.

01 Youth & Violence Prevention

J-Club / Violence Interruption

A safe space where youth grow into leaders.

J-Club is a high-impact summer enrichment program designed not only to prevent summer learning loss, but also to reduce youth risk behaviors through intentional prevention strategies. While students receive structured academic instruction in math and reading to strengthen school readiness, the program's core impact extends far beyond academics.

A key focus of J-Club is addressing risk behaviors such as substance use and violence. Through integrated Social Emotional Learning (SEL), students build distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and healthy coping skills — critical tools that help prevent drug use and other harmful behaviors.

Participants learn how to:

  • Manage peer pressure and resolve conflicts constructively
  • Make informed decisions in high-risk situations
  • Build distress tolerance and emotional regulation
  • Develop healthy coping skills that prevent substance use
  • Form positive relationships with mentors and peers

By providing a safe, structured environment during the summer months — when youth are most vulnerable to risky behaviors — J-Club strengthens protective factors, builds resilience, and supports the overall well-being of students and their families. The program is a proactive investment in youth safety, healthy coping, and long-term success.

Summer 2026: June 22 – July 30
